Our Training Philosophy
Our philosophy is to train horses without using pain, fear, or intimidation. In order to achieve this goal, an understanding of animal psychology is an absolute must. This includes an understanding of how horses learn, how best to motivate them, and the principles of training so that the horse stays out of conflict and confusion.
Because of this understanding, young horses can be trained without the bucking and fighting that is common in other programs and methods. Older horses that display conflict, nervous disorders and dangerous behaviors can be re-trained to become willing and happy partners.
Lastly, all our techniques are explained fully, giving you the “what” to do next, why to it and then how to do it. With this what, why and how approach you will be fully equipped to handle any problems that will come your way.
